A Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, Brooks Financial Planning has donated £1,000 through the St. James's Place Foundation to Cornwall Hospice Care. The funds are to provide replacement garden furniture for the newly landscaped gardens at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St. Austell.

The team at Brooks Financial Planning wanted to support Cornwall Hospice Care to be able to help people living with life threatening illnesses throughout Cornwall. Peter Brooks, Director of Brooks Financial Planning Ltd said: "The charity provides clinical care and support to patients and their families. They receive little government funding so have to rely on donations from individuals, groups and businesses to continue to provide this invaluable service. We are proud to support Cornwall Hospice Care."

Mark Buffey-Corrigan, Trusts & Grants Officer for Cornwall Hospice Care explained: "St. James's Place Foundation is a seasoned supporter of hospice care through the national organisation, Help the Hospices, but also have a local grants scheme. Peter Brooks and his team have gone out of their way to secure this funding for our charity, for which we are extremely grateful."

Peter Brooks added: "St. James's Place Foundation is the charitable arm of St. James's Place Wealth Management and is a grant making charity. They help with providing grants for several projects including supporting hospices in the UK, supporting people with cancer as well as disadvantaged and disabled young people under the age of 25."
