It’s always good to start the year with something to look forward to and Cornish charity Cornwall Hospice Care have the perfect idea for 2017. Booking is now open for the exclusive Mount to Mont Cycle Challenge that’s taking place from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th October. There are just 50 places available for this bespoke event, which has been created specifically for the charity.

New for 2017, the Cornwall Hospice Care Mount to Mont Cycle is a fully supported event like no other. Departing from the iconic Cornish landmark of St Michael’s Mount and finishing at Mont Saint Michel in Normandy, France, this five day adventure promises much, as Oliver Hoare, Head of Fundraising at the charity, explains;

“The route is full of challenging climbs and descents, stunning Cornish and French costal and countryside scenery, and will provide the unbeatable feel good factor as you support your local adult hospices. You don’t need to be fanatical about fitness to take on this challenge. Many of our cyclists may not have done anything like this before. The dedicated fundraising team at Cornwall Hospice Care and the experienced tour operator will help you every pedal stroke of the way to make sure your 290 mile adventure is unforgettable.”

“Cornwall Hospice Care receives some of the lowest levels of health authority funding in the UK and each year we need to raise a staggering £7.25 million. We’ve purposefully launched this unique cycling event that isn’t available anywhere else, to help provide you with a challenge and us a chance to raise more towards the specialist care we provide.”

Registration to guarantee your place is £149 with a minimum sponsorship target of £1,790.
