The Imerys Singers, long time supporters of Cornwall Hospice Care, presented us with a fantastic £1,000 at their Christmas concert, which was held at Carclaze Methodist Church on Saturday 6 December.

The group collect money during the year in support of our charity and this year's donation was gratefully accepted by Tamsin Thomas, Head of PR and Fundraising at Cornwall Hospice Care.  She told the audience at the concert that donations such as this are extremely valuable; "We need to raise £8.4 million a year to ensure we can provide our specialist care to patients and their families free of charge, so support from groups like the Imerys Singers is vital and we are very grateful for their continuing support, which is much appreciated by us all."

The 'Christmas is coming' concert held at Carclaze near St Austell, also featured the St Austell Brass Quintet and was chaired by Barry Hawken.
