On Wednesday 27th November, over 200 Santa's ran the one mile route through Truro city centre to mark the start of Cornwall Hospice Care's Santa Series 2015. The sponsored event in Truro has already raised in excess of £2,000 with more sponsorship on the way.

Can you spot yourself in our short film from last night - and do you know the baby being cuddled by Ruan the reindeer?

This was the first of seven events in this year's Santa Series. Click here to find out about the other events across the county - including our first Santa Run at Marazion.

Lindsay Opie, Major Events Fundraiser said; "The opening of our Santa Series has been a huge success and we are gearing up for our next run in Bodmin. Everyone who took part really enjoyed it and got into the spirit of Christmas. The shoppers were great as they allowed our Santa's to take over the city."

As a charity, Cornwall Hospice Care relies heavily on our communities, local businesses and organisations and volunteers. Lindsay continued; "I would like to thank everyone who took part and supported the event, especially the volunteers, Hall for Cornwall, Market Inn Bar, Francis Clark, CJ's Booty Camp, Totally Truro and Debbie McCrory at Radio Cornwall."
