We collect furniture and other large donations throughout Cornwall from our furniture outlets, based in Penryn, St Austell and Wadebridge.

Simply complete the collection request form above and we will contact you to confirm that we can accept your items.

All items that we collect need to be in a saleable condition, so before donating please check the following:

  • there's no damage or repairs needed
  • all items are in a good condition, clean and working correctly
  • all upholstered furniture has the correct fire label attached and is stain free

There are some items that we are unable to accept for legal or Health and Safety reasons so take a look at this handy list... 

Furniture and Housewares

  • Upholstered furniture without a fire label including items without labels that are part of donated sets
  • Upholstered furniture with large tears or damage of any kind
  • Furniture with missing parts or damage that may make the item unsafe
  • Veneered wood furniture with damage to the veneer exposing the inner wood
  • Flat-packed furniture without instructions
  • Candles without instructions

Electrical Items

  • Electric blankets
  • Electric showers
  • Sunbeds and tanning equipment
  • Waste disposal units
  • Power tools without instructions

Heating and Cooking

  • Gas appliances (mains or bottled)

  • Ovens with glass fronts/doors
  • Oil filled radiators (not supplied with a thermostat)

Sports and Safety Equipment

  • Bicycles
  • Buoyancy aids, lifejackets, inflatable dinghies
  • Safety helmets, riding hats, crash helmets
  • Cycle helmets
  • Safety harnesses of any sort
  • Firefighting equipment

 Children's Equipment

  • Children's car seats
  • Highchairs
  • Toys without a CE mark

Software and Hardware

  • Home recorded DVDs, video and audio tapes
  • Home recorded computer games and software on recordable CDs and DVDs


  • Knives
  • Swords, sword stocks, crossbows
  • Guns and ammunition (including replica guns)

Used Healthcare equipment:

  • Commodes
  • Bath stools/chairs
  • Incontinence pads/pants


  • Personal appliances such as shavers, foot spas, etc. (unless unused and in with original sealed box)
  • Duvets and pillows that have been used
  • Medication including vitamins
  • Perishable goods, food and drink
  • Prescription spectacles
  • Cleaning agents, solvents and adhesives
  • Ivory
  • Petrol or diesel fuelled garden tools such as lawn mowers
