Join us on Sunday 12th December* for a festive Santa themed paddle from Pentewan to Mevagissey (& back again!). We invite competent paddlers to join us on a kayak or SUP as we make our way across St Austell Bay festively clad in our Santa suits!

Registration will be from 1 pm and the paddle will set off at 2 pm.

This stunning, 4km mile route follows the coast line from Pentewan to Mevagissey and was quite the spectacle in 2020, making local news!  We ask that you are competent to paddle the distance please, but will be supported by safety boats.  We will then meet you at the festive finish line back at Pentewan for a mince pie and your finisher’s medal.

With huge thanks to Cornwall Watersports for their ongoing support and for hosting this event.  Your registration fee covers the cost of putting on this event and also includes the hire of a kayak or paddle board**, your Santa Suit, a medal and a mince pie, so anything you can raise as sponsorship will help fund our care of those living with a terminal illness in Cornwall, just £20 will fund an hour of nursing care; how many hours can you fund?

Sign up today and kick-start some Christmas spirit, whilst supporting your local adult hospices and all that we do for those who are terminally ill in Cornwall.

*The date is weather dependent and will be closely monitored. If we have to change the date we will give as much notice as we are able to

**Kayak or SUP hire is included in the registration fee but these are limited and will be first come first served so don’t delay!

Can you do it?

We recommend that this paddle is only undertaken by competent kayakers and paddle boarders with experience of a similar distance undertaken before. There will be safety boats joining us on the day.

Do I need to raise a minimum sponsorship?
