The birds are back in town….!
Come on down to the Port Isaac Village Hall for an evening of music, fun and laughter with the Port Isaac Gulls, this time joined by the Yorkshire Hummingbirds, PLUS special guest musician Lee Chantler! This is always a fab event and one not to be missed.
Gulls are a group of ten women who meet together every week to talk, eat cake, drink wine and sing a bit. They all love to sing. Nine of them live in Port Isaac with the other one living just up the road. Cherry, the youngest Gull, has the unenviable job of stopping them all talking long enough to sing in time and in tune! They sing acappella in three part harmony and although most of them are not “proper singers” they have been told they make a lovely sound.
Gulls have an eclectic repertoire – ten women with ten very different musical tastes! So expect anything from the 1940s to the present day.
Tickets are £6 each available from Secrets, Port Isaac.
