This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to lead our Supporter Care Team at a time when we’re adapting to the changing fundraising environment.  Focusing on sustainable development, this role is viewed as integral to the success of our Fundraising team.

The role sits within the Fundraising Management team and will succeed a departing colleague. The role holds management responsibility for four colleagues and is responsible for developing and implementing our long-term individual giving strategy. You will lead on a wide range of campaigns and utilise direct mail, telemarketing, and email marketing. You will also develop, our regular giving income stream establishing this vital income line for the future of our charity.

Based at our Income Generation Offices in St Austell, the successful candidate should expect to spend some time travelling around Cornwall occasionally.

About you:

You are an effective communicator, able to work collaboratively and independently, possessing the emotive and persuasive skills to convert supporters to Cornwall Hospice Care through engaging campaigns. You are happy working with data and can manipulate and identify trends turning these into results.  You’ll have an analytical approach to assessing data, focusing on providing solutions and meeting targets.  You’ll be creative in your direct marketing approaches to re-engage and enthuse our supporters.
