The results are in for our Christmas charity shop window competition! An announcement from our Executive Team on Tuesday 9th November.

We’ve had a very jolly time visiting and judging Christmas shop windows across Cornwall. We’ve also judged a few Halloween windows where the emphasis was on the 31st of October rather than the festive period.

We’ve been bowled over by the creativity and imagination demonstrated and thank everyone, employees and volunteers, for their enthusiasm and commitment to the competition that was very obvious in the designs.

Our judge’s results are in and we can today announce that the winning window is….

**** BOSLOWICK in Falmouth ****

The windows were beautifully co-ordinated and filled with many handmade decorations. The attention to detail was incredible. The pride shown by Layla, Store Manager and the volunteer team explaining the background of the windows, was clearly evident and we particularly liked the handmade post box. All in all, very impressive.

These pictures give you a flavour of their very detailed and eye-catching Christmas charity shop window.

The final choice came down to 4 stores with the winner being drawn out of a Santa Hat, so congratulations also go to our Highly Commended finalists at the

Wadebridge town centre shop, Redruth and St Blazey.

There has to be a winner but actually you all deserve congratulations for the work you put in to your windows. We’re fortunate to have such talented shop teams and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed visiting you all and judging your displays. It wasn’t an easy process as the standard was extremely high, so thank you all.

We’ll be visiting our winner and our finalists to present framed certificates in the near future.

Congratulations and thank you again one and all.

Paul, Gina, Graham and Verity
