We know you’ll have lots of questions about our Neighbourhood Hubs so we’ve tried to answer some of them here. However, if your query isn’t addressed here, please call us on 01726 829874 for more information.
We’ll be adding questions as we go along so keep visiting this page to find out more.
Where and when are your current Neighbourhood Hubs?
We have two at present. One in Wadebridge at the John Betjeman Centre and one in Penzance at Clarence House. They’re on a Thursday afternoon (starting on the 12th October), from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Is there a charge to come along?
No, like all our services the Hubs are free. This is thanks to the generous people of Cornwall who raise funds for us and leave us legacies in their Wills.
Can I bring my family and my carer?
Yes of course. The Neighbourhood Hubs are designed to offer support to all those around you who are affected by your illness, including family and carers.
Will there be refreshments?
Oh yes, we all like a cuppa! We’ll have tea and coffee available throughout the afternoon sessions.
Will you be opening more Neighbourhood Hubs because at present there isn’t one near me?
Definitely. Our plan is to ensure we have Neighbourhood Hubs across Cornwall so we’ll be looking to open more in areas like North and South-East Cornwall. Keep watching this website for future developments.
I’m just looking for a bit of company and a chat at the moment, I don’t think I need any specialist help at present. Is the Neighbourhood Hub still appropriate?
