Your questions answered

We know you’ll have lots of questions about our Neighbourhood Hubs so we’ve tried to answer some of them here. However, if your query isn’t addressed here, please call us on 01726 829874 for more information.

We’ll be adding questions as we go along so keep visiting this page to find out more.

Where and when are your current Neighbourhood Hubs?

We have three at present. Our hub in Wadebridge (at the John Betjeman Centre) runs weekly on a Thursday afternoon  from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

Our hospice based hubs are at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice on a Wednesday, from 1.30pm – 4.30pm and St Julia’s Hospice on a Monday, from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Is there a charge to come along?

No, like all our services the Hubs are free. This is thanks to the generous people of Cornwall who raise funds for us and leave us legacies in their Wills.

Can I bring my family and my carer?

Yes of course.  The Neighbourhood Hubs are designed to offer support to all those around you who are affected by your illness, including family and carers.

Will there be refreshments?

Oh yes, we all like a cuppa!  We’ll have tea and coffee available throughout the afternoon sessions.

Our future plans

Will you be opening more Neighbourhood Hubs because at present there isn’t one near me?

Our plan is to have community based services across Cornwall, though this may take different forms.  We will include any information about new hubs on this page, so check here for future developments, but you may also be interested in our other community services – information on these can be found here.

I’m just looking for a bit of company and a chat at the moment, I don’t think I need any specialist help at present. Is the Neighbourhood Hub still appropriate?

Come along and see us.  If the hubs aren’t right for you, maybe one of our other services might be. View our Community Services here.
