Volunteers are the heart of all we do at Cornwall Hospice Care and are playing a vital role at our Neighbourhood Hubs.
So how can you help? We need you to offer a friendly welcome to those visiting the Hubs and to look after them during their visit, ensuring they’re offered coffee or tea and are introduced to the specialist staff they need to talk to.
The Neighbourhood Hubs are held weekly and run for three hours on a Thursday afternoon. At the moment the two Hubs are in Wadebridge and Penzance but we will be opening more in the coming months.
You don’t have to commit to helping every week, but it would be ideal if you could help at least once a month. We’ll give you lots of support and we’re sure you’ll find it very rewarding.
If you’d like to talk to someone about the volunteer roles available at the Neighbourhood Hubs you can call our Volunteer Services Manager on 01726 65711. Or you can fill in a short form – see the link below.
Thank you. You’ll be helping us to make a difference to people with terminal illnesses and to their families and carers.
