Volunteers are the heart of all we do at Cornwall Hospice Care and play a vital role at our Community Services.
So how can you help? We need you to offer a friendly welcome to those visiting some of our services and to look after them during their visit, ensuring they’re offered coffee or tea and are introduced to the specialist staff they need to talk to.

Our Neighbourhood Hubs are held weekly and run for three hours on a Thursday afternoon. At the moment there are Hubs in Wadebridge and at our two hospices in Hayle and St Austell.
You don’t have to commit to helping every week, but it would be ideal if you could help at least once a month. We’ll give you lots of support and we’re sure you’ll find it very rewarding.
If you’d like to talk to someone about the volunteer roles available at our Community Services you can call our Community Services Coordinator on 01726 829874, or you can fill in an online application form – see the link below.
Thank you. You’ll be helping us to make a difference to people with terminal illnesses and to their families and carers.
