Kate's Story

Kate is one of Terri Lightfoot’s patients. She developed Lymphoedema in 2015 after suffering from cancer and was referred to Terri at St Julia’s Hospice by the team at the Sunrise Centre at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske. Kate first knew something was wrong when she experienced swollen fingers and hands and a heavy feeling in her arm.  She now says she can cope thanks to her regular hour long appointments with Terri in the hospice’s ‘Caron Keating Therapy Room’.

Listen here to Kate talking about her lymphoedema and about Terri and the regular support she receives from her.
