From time to time our Complementary Therapy team run our Wellbeing Workshops, aimed at patients and/or their carers to learn how to use complementary therapies at home.
Complementary therapies are natural, gentle and non invasive treatments that are used to complement traditional medical treatments.
Some of the things we will cover:
- Techniques to relax and calm the mind
- Ways to cope with symptoms such as anxiety, panic & insomnia
- How to make creams, lotions and aromasticks
- The sessions finish with a relaxation session
Soothing the Mind Workshops primarily focus on helping you to relax and calm the mind.
Soothing the Body Workshops are designed to help you to cope with symptoms such as anxiety, pain and nausea.
Soothing the Spirit Workshops concentrate on looking at the spiritual aspects of a person’s journey.
The workshops are free, however you will need to reserve your place on it as spaces are very limited.
