On the 4th October 2017, 39 cyclists set off from St Michael’s Mount, Marazion, aiming to arrive in Mont St Michel, Normandy, just four days later, all in the name of Cornwall Hospice Care.

Our team of fearsome cyclists, donned their Cornwall Hospice Care jersey’s bright and early on Wednesday 4th October 2017 at St Michael’s Mount in anticipation of tackling this epic challenge.

The challenging hills of Cornwall will never be forgotten, but the sea of pink and green pedalling into France was a fantastic sight to behold.

The team raised £106,664.28, an absolutely incredible sum, which less the costs of putting on this challenge, will fund 3,165 hours of nursing care.

#TeamCHC were nothing short of amazing, a truly inspirational group of extraordinary people.

Darren Uren, one of our fundraisers on the challenge, has written an inspiring blog, documenting our successes and all the fun the team enjoyed, read it here.
