Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle both owe their creation and continued existence to people kindly remembering us in their Wills. Legacies have enabled us to provide vital support at our adult hospices in Cornwall for over 35 years.

Cornwall Hospice Care’s annual legacy income is enough to fund 29 nurses at each of the two hospices for 9 months of the year - imagine what can be achieved in the future thanks to gifts left in wills.

Thanks to our supporters making donations in Wills, thousands of families in Cornwall have been able to benefit from the specialist and compassionate care given by our hospice staff and volunteers.

Kindly remembering Cornwall Hospice Care in your Will enables us to be there for people when we are needed most.

Gifts in Wills and donations are extremely valued and, last year, these gifts contributed 19% of our total income. Without this generous support we would quite simply not be able to meet the demand for our hospice services. We ask that you please consider leaving a gift in your Will, however large or small, to help ensure that we can continue to offer our hospice services to those who need them in the future.

Legacies help to ensure that adult hospice care in Cornwall is free for one and all!

A gift left in your Will can be a specific sum of money, a share of your estate, or specific items. Supporting us in this way will not cost you a penny now and it could also help reduce your liability for Inheritance Tax. Just a small percentage of your estate, once you have provided for your loved ones, could make a big difference to us and the community we serve.
