3rd – 5th December
I’m Lou, the ward sister at St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle, and I’ve decided to do something different for Christmas this year – I’m going to skydive in a Santa suit!
Why? Well, the last 18 months have been pretty challenging for us all, but I’ve been incredibly inspired by our nursing teams – throughout the pandemic; day in, day out, they have put on their PPE and continued to care for their patients in really difficult circumstances. I couldn’t be prouder of them, so now I’m going to do something to help keep them caring, and you could join me!
This Christmas we’ve decided to do some different challenges in our Santa suits – in fact some really different ones! You can still get on your bike and do the ever-popular Wadebridge to Padstow Santa Cycle, but you can also do the Santa Paddle challenge on your paddleboard or Kayak, or, if you fancy getting the adrenaline really pumping, you could join me and do an amazing Santa Skydive.
Taking part in a Santa challenge will help keep our beds open and our amazing nurses caring, so why not get involved, raise some funds, and have fun together in a Santa suit!
See you there!

P.S. Did you know? Registration for all of our Santa events includes your Santa suit and you’ll earn your own medal!
