Each year we take time during the summer months to remember loved ones in tranquil beach settings, known as our Reflections events.
Reflections Remembrance Events
This Year's Events
In 2018 you can join us at one of two Reflections Remembrance events this June – there will be events in the Falmouth and St Austell areas giving the opportunity to remember your loved ones at these unique events.
The first event will be at Polkerris Beach, near Par on Saturday 9th June and the second one returns to Trebah Garden near Falmouth once again on Sunday 24th June.
Both events will start at 4pm, where you are welcome to come with friends and family to attach your hand written messages of remembrance to a beautiful bright pink gerbera flower. Place your flower on our willow raft in the shape of an open lotus flower and then at approximately 5pm watch as the raft will be slowly rowed away with some gentle background music (sea conditions permitting).
Entry to Trebah is free from 4pm, the walk down through the gardens will take approximately 20 minutes and due to the topography of the garden disabled access requires a suitable motorised vehicle.
Access to Polkerris is available all day, there is a pay and display car park a short walk from the beach up the hill.
If you are unable to attend either event, please let us know, and we will personally ensure your message is on the raft.
