What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a scheme by which charities can reclaim tax on donations made by a UK taxpayer. This means your donations will be worth 25% more, so for every £1 donated we can claim an additional 25p. This is for every £1 donated as either money or donated goods (it is claimed on the money raised from the sale). There is  no cost to the donor.

You have to be a UK taxpayer to be able to Gift Aid your donation – meaning when you choose to Gift Aid we need your full name and postal address so that the government can confirm you are eligible.

Just a few minutes of your time will help us to continue funding the care we can offer to our patients, as well as the support we offer to their families and remember this is at no cost to you!

Find out more about Gift Aid here on the government website.

A few minutes of your time helps to fund the care and support we offer to terminally adults and their families and carers.

Are you going to be donating to one of our shops?

Gift Aid enables us to claim 25% from HMRC. So if your donated bed sells for £100 we can make it £125 at no cost to you or us! Every penny counts so registering for Gift Aid is worthwhile for all donations.

As long as you are a UK taxpayer you can register. It is as simple as filling in a form which you can do at every shop you donate to. Our van drivers will also bring a form with them if collecting from you.
