With comments like “Oh my goodness, best news I’ve ever had over the phone” and “Oh my word, it’s a bit of a shock, that was unexpected” it can only mean one thing…… we have our winners from our Summer Raffle 2019!

Thank you to everyone who took part, the draw raised an incredible £27,458! You are all winners to us by helping to fund our specialist care, however 13 lucky people do get to win our prizes and are listed on the attached poster – congratulations!

General FAQs

How much do raffle tickets cost?

Raffle tickets cost £1 each.

Why am I sent reserved numbers in the raffle?

As current supporter of our a weekly lottery or have supported our raffles during the past 3 years, you have been selected to receive them.

How can I enter the Summer Raffle?

You can enter the raffle by post by returning your selected reserved numbers to Cornwall Hospice Care, Porthpean Road, St Austell, PL26 6AB. Or completing the raffle books available from our shops, hospices or office. Alternatively, click the button above to buy online.

What are the prizes?

First prize: £2,000, Second prize: £500, Third prize: £250, Runners Up: Ten prizes of £25

How do I make an additional donation?

If like many of our raffle supporters, you wish to make an additional donation, simply send it to us when you return your tickets. Or you can make a donation online.

Buying/Selling FAQs

Who can I sell raffle tickets to? Can I sell them door to door?

You can buy tickets for yourself or you can sell them to friends, family and people at work but it is illegal to sell them door to door.

Can my son/daughter sell them for you?

We would be delighted, as long as they are over 16 years of age. It is illegal to sell raffle tickets to children under the age of 16 and for people under 16 to sell raffle tickets.

What details need to be completed on the raffle ticket stubs?

The purchaser’s name and full address need to be clearly written. It’s useful to add a daytime phone number too as we always try to contact winners by telephone first.

Can I just complete the first stub of the book?

Every ticket is entered individually and has an equal chance of winning, so we do need the purchaser’s details on each ticket stub please.

What should I do with the tickets I can’t sell?

Sell as many as you can and then return the ones you haven’t, together with the money and stubs from the ones you have sold.

How do I pay you the money?

You will receive an addressed envelope which you can use to return the ticket stubs to us with a cheque or postal order. Please make sure that all of your ticket stubs are filled in correctly.

Who do I make the cheques or postal orders payable to?

Please make cheques or postal orders payable to Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery.
