My remit at Cornwall Hospice Care covers responsibility for the HR function (ensuring the organisation is compliant with employment legislation and best practice) and Organisational Development (leading on leadership and management development and organisational change).
Prior to joining Cornwall Hospice Care I spent 15 years in a variety of senior UK wide HR and Organisational Development roles in the private sector, 10 years as Head of People & Organisational Development at Marie Curie Cancer Care and 2 years as CEO at The Rainbow Centre for Children in Bristol.
I have been married to Amanda for 30 years and we have one son, Findley, a traveller & a musician.
In my spare time I am Chairman of the Devon Rugby Referees Society, an active rugby referee and keen walker / traveller.
With the fantastic team people we have here at Cornwall Hospice Care my sole aim is to support the delivery of the highest quality care to our patients and their families.
