About Cornwall Hospice Care

Cornwall Hospice Care is a leading Cornish charity providing specialist care for people with terminal illnesses.  This care is provided free of charge at our two hospices – Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia's Hospice in Hayle, in Cornwall's hospitals, care homes and in the community.  The charity also runs a 24 hour advice line for other healthcare professionals.

The majority of our funding comes from public support.  This can be through our 31 charity shops across Cornwall; legacies; fundraising; lottery; education and donations.  We also have a large distribution centre and business premises in St Austell.

As a large Charity we have a variety of roles across a diverse range of professions in locations across the county.

Posts involved directly with patient care include:

  • medical and clinical staff
  • healthcare workers
  • allied health professionals
  • counsellors
  • catering staff and housekeepers

We also offer a range of business related posts including retail, fundraising, administration, finance, media and other business support.
