Light Up A Life

Our recent Light Up a Life service at Truro Cathedral was a moving tribute to those we’ve lost and the enduring power of love and remembrance.
As our Clinical Director, Sarah Machin, reflected: “It was uplifting, powerful and you could really feel the love in the Cathedral. Everyone paid their quiet respects to those who are no longer with us, and the sense of hope and care was truly astounding.”
We were touched by the spirit of kindness and generosity shown throughout the service. The total raised was a staggering £40, 942, it’s remarkable that even in moments of remembrance, so many of you chose to support the continuation of our work, ensuring we can be there for others when they need us most.
The Online Books of Remembrance are available to view below.

Our Light Up A Life Service at Truro Cathedral

During our Light Up A Life service, we will have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of those dear to us. The soft glow of these candles will fill the cathedral with a warm and comforting light, symbolising the enduring love we hold for our departed loved ones.

Books of Remembrance featuring the names of loved ones form a meaningful part of the service and are displayed at Truro Cathedral, St Julia’s Hospice, and Mount Edgcumbe Hospice, as well as online.

Please use the above ‘make a dedication’ button to send us your loved ones names and your donation.
