More About the Event
Attracting over 900 cars of all marques, this is an event not to be missed for the budding petrolhead!

But that’s not all…there is something for everybody during your day out: 150 stalls selling crafts, jewellery, clothes and much, much more, food and drink outlets including a licensed bar, bouncy castles, fairground rides and family friendly entertainment from jazz music to magicians.

The car park is £10 per car but entry to the show is FREE.

Why support Cornwall Hospice Care?

In 2019 your efforts helped us open an extra bed in St Julia’s and Mount Edgcumbe Hospices. You can make the difference in 2020 and help open more beds. Our goal is to be able to open more beds  and offer more people our specialist care for those precious last hours.  Your registration fee will cover the costs of this event, but by raising sponsorship you will enable us to care for more terminally ill people in Cornwall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome at our event. Please do remember to bring water for your dog though as the event takes place in a field in summer.

Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, you can bring a picnic, however there are plenty of food vendors to pick from as well.

Are there any discounts for military/NHS etc families?

Unfortunately not, however £10 to park all day with free entry to the show does make this a reasonably priced day out, particularly if you fill the seats in your car.

When will I be sent my car pass?

Stall holders/car booters/car show will receive their car passes in the post approximately 2 weeks before the event, with final instructions. There are no advanced bookings for day visitors.

What does my £10 parking fee cover/why has it gone up from £5 after all these years?

The fee didn’t increase for 12 years, and the decision to increase it was considered at length due to increased running costs in putting this event on.

What’s the provision for disabled parking?

Car parking is in a field, if you require disabled parking please contact the organisers in advance of this event.

Is the event wheelchair friendly?

The event takes place on grass, so please make your own judgement based on this.

What type of cars do you consider classic that can show?

We have no hard definition of classic cars and are open to any reasonable vehicle or enthusiast.

Can my car club bring a gazebo? And if so do I have to book?

Clubs can bring a gazebo if they have a reasonable number of members at the show and they book it in advance. Please email to arrange this.

When I am showing my car what time must I arrive by and what is the earliest I can leave?

Cars must arrive by 12.00 noon and earliest departure is 14.00.
