This year, our Summer Raffle Draw is taking place on Wednesday, 20th August 2025 and there are 13 fantastic cash prizes on offer.
Every £1.50 ticket bought not only gives you a chance to win, but it also helps fund the care we provide to the Cornish community. It really is a win-win situation.

We’d also like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you who bought tickets for this summertime Raffle – your generosity has raised an incredible £xx,xxx!
This year you were invited to take part in our Summer Raffle by Lynn, who has shared the story of the precious time she spent with her late partner in one of our hospice cuddle beds.
Cuddle beds are hospital style beds that can be extended from single to double size to allow couples and families to sit or lie down together. At present thereʼs one at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice and one at St Juliaʼs Hospice.
Weʼre dedicating this Summer Raffle to Lynn and Tony, supporting Lynnʼs hope of making sure other families who need this care and comfort can enjoy it too.
Every £1.50 ticket of the 17,811 sold helped fund the care we provide to the Cornish community, whilst also giving chances to win with us.
Raffle players you really made a difference to those patients and their families whose lives we touch by taking part.

““Tony had a real lust for life and he wouldn’t give up on things,” says Lynn Clarke, his partner for 14 years. “We met when he came round to fix my roof, and we just hit it off. We got engaged four years ago. Tony loved music and motorbikes and together we enjoyed travelling.”
Tony Lewis, who was a retired roofer, faced a short but horrid cancer journey that ultimately bought him to Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell for the last 24 hours of his life. “It was a beautiful place, so friendly and I felt I could be me again when the staff took over the care, the Chef even made me a Gin and Tonic,” says Lynn who lives in St Dennis where she’s the Parish Clerk.
“In the hospital I’d been perching on the bed, but when we arrived at the hospice, they mentioned the cuddle bed and they transferred Tony to it. We spent our last 30 minutes in it together, it was the worst and the best time. It was like Tony had waited so I could cuddle up with him at the end of his life.”
